Deane's Equestrian Centre

Deane's Equestrian Centre (AIRE Approved) offers a variety of equestrian activities to suit everyone ... whether they be complete beginners wanting to try the sport for the first time or hugely experienced enthusiasts. It is situated in the hills of South West Donegal, midway between Killybegs and Donegal Town. It's very accessible for visitors staying or touring in this part of the County. It is a long established and professionally run centre with a whole raft of indoor and outdoor facilities for the rider to enjoy - whatever the weather might be doing at the time. 

Lessons for every level of ability are conducted by professionally qualified instructors either in the large Indoor School or Outdoor Arena. Competitions are held almost weekly throughout the year in all the three disciplines of Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. These are generally open to all-comers. If your horse is holidaying with you, then temporary livery can be arranged at the centre. Horse hire for competitions are only available for existing clients of the centre.

 

Our 'Pony Camp" may be just the activity you are looking for - adopting a pony of you're own for several hours of the day and tending to all their needs - catching, feeding, grooming, mucking-out, exercising, riding, turning-out and bedding down.

On site there is "The Tack Shop" - for those that enjoy the shopping experience as much as the riding. Any items not in stock can be ordered quickly and efficiently. 

Deane's Equestrian Centre and Tack Shop are open six days a week throughout the year from Tuesdays to Sundays - 9:00am until late.
